Iron Pillar LLC ("we," "us," or "our") is a small app studio based in Pennsylvania. We build iOS apps including ARFID and CHIP. You can reach us at info@ironpillarllc.com.
ARFID: A Remedy For Intricate Diets
ARFID is designed to help children explore new foods through a gentle, gamified journey.
Data stored on your device:
- Child profiles (name, avatar, and settings chosen by the parent or caregiver)
- Food ratings and journey progress
- Achievements, bites earned, and shop purchases
- Parent settings and optional PIN
All of this data is stored locally on your device using Apple's built-in storage. None of it is transmitted to our servers or any third party. If you delete the app, all data is deleted with it.
ARFID makes no network requests and does not use analytics, advertising, or crash reporting services.
CHIP: Challenges Handled In Pieces
CHIP helps users break down challenges into small, manageable steps using AI assistance.
Data stored on your device:
- Challenges and chips (tasks) you create
- Progress and completion history
Data sent to our servers when you use the AI breakdown feature:
- The text of the challenge you type is sent to our server (hosted on Cloudflare) and forwarded to Anthropic's API to generate a response.
- An anonymized device identifier (a hash — not tied to your name, Apple ID, or any personal information) is used to enforce daily usage limits.
We do not log or store the content of your challenges on our servers beyond what is needed to process your request. Anthropic's data handling is governed by Anthropic's Privacy Policy.
Children's Privacy
ARFID is intended for use by children under parental or caregiver supervision. Because all data is stored only on the device and nothing is transmitted to any server, we do not collect any personal information from children. We are compliant with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA).
CHIP is not directed at children under 13.
Data Sharing
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for advertising or marketing purposes. We do not use any advertising SDKs or analytics services in our apps.
Data Security
Data stored on your device is protected by iOS's built-in security and your device's passcode or biometric lock. Data transmitted by CHIP is sent over encrypted HTTPS connections.
Your Rights
Since your data is stored on your own device, you are in full control of it. You can delete your data at any time by deleting the app. If you have questions about data sent through CHIP's AI feature, contact us at info@ironpillarllc.com.
Changes to This Policy
If we make material changes to this policy, we will update the date at the top of this page. We encourage you to review it periodically.
